As first-time podcasters with a background in journalism and sports communications, we went into creating The Mettleset Podcast – the region’s first podcast to put women in sport first – with a ‘Let’s just do it’ attitude but wanted to make sure that we could achieve the best audio quality on every episode. This is where JJ and the Podcast Now team stepped in as an ally, ensuring that we have a polished show on our hands, and our listeners get the consistency that they expect every single time they tune in. JJ is not only our editor but has helped us refine our delivery and packaging with tips and tricks of the trade. He is also our voice of reason and debate on other aspects and decisions, including the distribution, intro, outro and music for the podcast.
